Just a reminder that this coming Sunday is our food drive. All donations will be donated this year to the Holy Trinity Food Pantry in Poughkeepsie. I have received a list of their needs as they will be providing more then a 100 families with Easter dinner.
Attached you will see the list that was provided to us and that we will be handing out to customers at Stop and Shop in Wappingers Falls. You will also see that at the top, the food pantry also provides children of these families with coloring books, story books and crayons to help them. I thought it would be great if each member of the team could donate one or more of these items on Sunday to go with the donations we collect. Many stores carry coloring books for $1.00.
Please remember that this is a MANDATORY service project required by all Varsity teams we will be collecting food from 10:00 - 2:00 on March 13th, at the Stop and Shop in Wappingers by BJ's. Please remember to wear your team t-shirt and your blue and white team jacket to identify our organization.
Also, please remember to hand in your RSVP for the fencing dinner, they can be turned into the office at school or I will also be collecting them on Sunday if anyone wishes to bring them to the food drive.
